I am starting the new category titled “Lost in translation” with this hilarious photo I took in a hotel in Tenerife, Spain. For those of you that don’t speak German, the German language uses two completely different words for turkey (the bird) and Turkey (the country). You guessed it, they picked the wrong one!

Wow! That could be funny or really embarrassing.
But that happens so many times with the differences between all the languages, specially the ones so rich in vocabulary as Spanish.
